Whilst every project in my portfolio reflects my mission and purpose as a designer, this section highlights designs that are driven specifically by my personal advocacy for social justice and animal rights. These projects hold space for applying my design expertise to causes I’m most passionate about, at times volunteering my time to amplify voices and stories that need it most. They serve as a testament to my belief that we can act by design as a tool for positive change.

NSW Hen Rescue Chuffed Campaign: Help us keep our Promise
FLYERS_FOR_FALASTIN
Project Objective
To create posters for the Flyers for Falastin poster movement as a shared act of resistance and solidarity with Palestine.
From the Flyers For Falastin Website:
Flyers for Falastin is a poster movement, launched in Belgium in 2023 by a group of friends. Our mission is to call on people to stand in solidarity with Palestine through the power of visual art. Artists from around the world have joined us, freely donating their work to the collection as a shared act of resistance and solidarity.
The aim of our poster campaign is to amplify the message of a free Palestine as much as possible and as widespread as possible. It is a call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, an immediate end to the genocide, a prosecution of the Israeli war crimes, an end to the Zionist settler colonial project, and a right to return: a truly free Palestine.
All posters, colouring pages and stickers are free to download and print.
We also collaborate with pick-up points where you can get posters for free.

Rationale
After everything we have witnessed over the last few years, the atrocities speak for themselves. We should all do our part and that includes listening to, and showing up for the Palestinian people.
Please join the movement and stand in solidarity with Palestine.
Watch this space! There’s more to come.
NSW HEN RESCUE CHUFFED CAMPAIGN
Project Objective
Campaign: Help us Keep our promise
Design a set of donor appreciation perks incl greeting cards, stickers and magnets that feature beloved members of the Hen Haven family.
Each piece should honour and celebrate these individual family members and also create emotional connection points for Donors.
Love Lola - Magnet and A4 Print (Top Left to right x 4), In Martin’s Memory: Greeting Card and Sticker (Top Right & Bottom left), Albert and Sol BFF Roosters Magnet (Bottom left to right x 3).
Rationale
Love Lola - Magnet and A4 Print
Lola’s incredible journey is at the heart of this design. As a Director of NSW Hen Rescue there are many facets to my role, including foster care.
Found on the streets of Sydney with a horrible injury likely from a predator attack, Lola was with me for 4 months. She required intense vet treatment and assistive care which was very challenging for us both. Lola blew me away with her will to survive, her resilience and sassy personality that never wavered through every step of her long recovery.
This A4 print and magnet celebrate Lola's tenacity and strength of character. Our followers had a deep connection with her journey, and this design serves as a tangible reminder of what she was able to overcome. The artwork captures both the vulnerability of her early days and the spirited hen she is today fully healed and thriving at the Hen Haven, providing donors a keepsake that reflects the real impact of their support.
In Martin’s Memory: Greeting Card and Sticker
Martin touched hearts and minds all throughout the world in the short time he was with us. Rescued from the filthy floor of a crowded parent shed, beaten, bruised and unable to stand or walk, to hearing his first crow, watching him take his first steps and go on to live his best life, our followers were with us every step of the way celebrating in his triumphs.
This greeting card and sticker is a visual reminder to our donors to honour his journey and a call to action that all animals deserve the chance to thrive even when the odds are against them.
Martin became the face of Meet the Parents; an online campaign focused on uncovering the realities of chicken parent and breeder farms within the egg and meat industries. This piece connects donor contributions to our larger mission; to amplify the voices of animals to create systematic change Until Every Cage is Empty. You can view the Meet the Parents campaign on the main projects page.
Albert and Sol BFF Roosters Magnet
Albert and Sol’s story is an important reminder about how we judge animals. Both boys were surrendered as “aggressive” when they simply didn’t connect with humans. Instead they formed a strong bond with each other. Albert and Sol just needed the right chance and they were given that at the Hen Haven.
This magnet celebrates their friendship and challenges the idea that animals who don't fit the "friendly" mold are less deserving of kindness and care. Roosters are often discarded for having preferences but Albert and Sol got the opportunity to thrive on their own terms.
This piece is a reminder that meaningful connections happen in unexpected ways. It honours those who don't fit the typical narrative for companion animals while showing the real impact of giving every animal a second chance.
